When you set up your account, a robot is created for you on the fly. The robot is properly configured and is ready to work with you immediately. However, your fresh robot, like a newborn baby, knows nothing about your website and business. You need to teach her before she can work as a capable live chat operator. This is how.
Note: All steps on this page require you to log onto your account and navigate to My home at first.
1. Chatting with your client
Your robot will learn when you or your colleagues chat with the real clients. In other words, you teach her by demonstrating how you answer the questions from the clients. This is the most effective way to train your robot. We recommend you keep chatting with the clients until the robot can answer the common questions from the clients. To chat with your clients, click Chat link from My home.
2. Using simulation
Simulation means you chat with yourself, playing the roles of client and operator at the same time. This is an efficient way to transfer your knowledge to robot. However, simulation cannot replace your chatting with real client because it's rather difficult to predict what client might ask. To simulate chat,
- Click Simulation link.
- Chat with yourself by entering proper text for each role you are playing.
